Healthy Christmas Baking (That actually tastes good)

I have a friend that legit is one of the best bakers I have ever met… this girl can bake! You name it she can bake it and gorgeous creations. I can bake, but nothing Pinterest worthy 😀. But with Amanda, everything is a masterpiece.  Amanda is also a personal trainer and owns a business called Live Well with her husband Brian, because of her passion for health and wellness, in the last few years she has started baking these amazing healthier versions of her typical Christmas baking.  

Amanda graciously wrote a post for us and included some of her healthy Christmas baking recipes for us to try!

Amanda’s healthy baking

I love to bake! I have always had a passion for baking, mostly because I have a sweet tooth and I love to eat!  However, as I have gotten a bit older (and wiser) I have also developed a love & passion for health & wellness! As I strive to achieve this for not only myself, but for my family as well, I decided to revamp some of what I was baking!   Instead of avoiding sweet treats all together, I have found a way to have our cake and eat it too!!    

Here are my 3 main goals in healthier baking

1st Goal:  Getting rid of refined sugar!  

2nd Goal: Adding protein, fiber and healthy fats  

3rd Goal: Replacing White Flour 

I strongly believe in loving what you eat, and eating what you love!!  Merry Christmas and Happy Baking
